Iran Basketball to Part Company with Saeed Armaghani: Report
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iran basketball federation will reportedly part ways with Team Melli head coach Saeed Armaghani.
Armaghani was named as the head coach of Iran national team in May 2022 but failed to meet the expectations.
Under his coaching, Iran narrowly booked a place at the 2023 FIBA Basketball World Cup.
Media reports suggest that the federation is going to hire a foreign coach for the national team.
