Iran Loses to Uzbekistan at CAFA U-20 Championship 2023
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iran’s football team lost to Uzbekistan 3-2 in the opening match of the CAFA U-20 Championship 2023 on Sunday.
The team, headed by Ali Doosti-Mehr, will play Tajikistan on Tuesday.
The tournament has brought Tajikistan, Iran, Afghanistan, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan together.
The Central Asian Football Association (CAFA) is one of five regional bodies of governance in association football in Asia.
