Iran’s Ghandipour among AFC U-17 Players to Watch
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Reza Ghandipour of Iran is among the Players to Watch in the 2023 AFC U-17 Asian Cup Thailand.
The forward stood out in an already impressive team as he helped Iran secure a place in the competition to be held in Thailand.
Six goals from open play indicate his quality and Ghandipour will be aiming to impress even more in Thailand 2023.
Iran, winner in 2008, will face Afghanistan in Group B at the Rajamangala National Stadium on Friday. While Iran is making its ninth straight appearance, Afghanistan’s sole previous involvement came in the last edition and the team is seeking to register its first ever points in the tournament.
