Iran Condemns Israeli Regime's Atrocities against Palestinians in Occupied West Bank

TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iran’s Foreign Ministry spokesman, Nasser Kanaani, denounced the Israeli regime’s criminal acts against Palestinians, saying the occupying regime is accelerating its own demise through continuous atrocities and malevolent actions.

Kanaani expressed these sentiments in a tweet on Thursday, one day after the Israeli regime conducted a lethal drone strike in the occupied West Bank city of Jenin, resulting in the deaths of three Palestinians.

In his tweet, Kanaani wrote, "One who sows the wind shall reap the whirlwind," while commending the Palestinian resistance groups for standing up against the Israeli regime's aggression.

He emphasized that resistance represents the legitimate response of the Palestinian nation to terrorism, occupation, and apartheid.

"The oppressed but resilient Palestinian nation will not leave the Israeli regime's acts of evil unanswered. The Zionist regime is shortening its lifespan by continuing its crimes and acts of evil," Kanaani stated.

On Wednesday, the Israeli military targeted a vehicle near the Al-Jalama checkpoint in the northern part of the occupied West Bank city of Jenin, alleging that its occupants were part of a "terrorist cell." Palestinian resistance groups condemned the attack, demanding that the Israeli regime be held accountable for this criminal act.

In recent months, Israel has intensified its assaults on Palestinian towns and cities across the occupied territories, resulting in the loss of numerous Palestinian lives and the arrest of many others. Most of the raids have targeted the cities of Nablus and Jenin, where Israeli forces have been attempting to suppress the growing Palestinian resistance against occupation.

Since the beginning of this year, at least 174 Palestinians have been killed due to Israeli violence.
