Iran Comes 5th at 2023 AVC Challenge Cup
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iran beat Australia 3-1 (25-20, 19-25, 25-18, 25-20) in the 2023 AVC Challenge Cup for Women on Sunday to finish in fifth place.
Iran registered four wins against Hong Kong, the Philippines, Uzbekistan and Australia in the competition and two losses against Chinese Taipei and Vietnam.
The 2023 Asian Women's Volleyball Challenge Cup is the fourth edition of the Asian Women's Volleyball Challenge Cup, an annual international volleyball tournament organized by the Asian Volleyball Confederation (AVC) with the Indonesian Volleyball Federation (PBVSI) hosting the event.
The tournament began on June 18 in Gresik, Indonesia and will conclude today, June 25.
