Bushehr Customs Export over 7 Million Tons of Non-Oil Goods in 3 Months


TEHRAN (Tasnim) – An official with the Bushehr Customs Offices in southern Iran said that 7,409,000 tons of non-oil goods were exported from the provincial customs offices in the first quarter of the current Iranian calendar year (March 21 to June 22).

Director General of Bushehr Customs Ali Soleimani pointed to the statistics of the provincial customs offices in the first three months of the current year and said over 7,409,000 tons of goods with gas condensate excluded, valued at $2.806 billion, were exported from Bushehr Customs Offices, showing a one and a 28 percent decline in terms of weight and value respectively compared to the same period last year.

Petrochemical products, gas condensates, cement, clinker, fresh fruits and vegetables were among the main products exported from the provincial customs offices overseas, Soleimani continued.

He further pointed out that China, the United Arab Emirates, India, Turkey, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Vietnam, Thailand and South Africa were Bushehr province’s main export destinations.
