Dutch Prime Minister Announces Resignation

TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Dutch Prime Minister Mark Rutte on Friday announced that he and his cabinet will resign due to a controversy over immigration.

"It’s an extremely disappointing political reality," he said at a news conference, TASS reported.

Rutte said the resignation will be submitted to the king in the near future, but the cabinet will continue to run the country until after new elections that could bring to power a new coalition cabinet.
