Iran Too Strong for Poland at 2023 FIVB U-21 World C’ship
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iran defeated Poland 3-0 (25-17, 25-23, 25-23) in the 2023 FIVB Volleyball Men's U-21 World Championship on Tuesday.
Iran’s Pourya Hossein Khanzadeh collected 17 points and Piotr Sliwka from Poland earned 14 points.
Iran, who had defeated Thailand 3-1, Tunisia 3-2 and Bahrain 3-0 in Pool A, will meet Thailand in Pool E on Wednesday.
The winners and runners-up of pools E and F will progress to the semifinals and eventually determine the medalists.
