Iran Freestyle Runner-Up at U-15 Asian Wrestling C’ships
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iran finished in second place at the U-15 Asian Wrestling Championships held in Amman, Jordan.
The Iranian wrestlers won a gold, four silver and four bronze medals and came second with 171 points.
Amir Mohammad Zarrinkam won a gold medal in the 57kg.
Amir Abbas Ramezani in 41kg, Sam Arshad in 44kg, Ariobarzan Mohammadi in 62kg and Arsham Vahabian in 68kg seized four silver medals.
Matin Khandan in 38kg, Arian Mehralizadeh in 52kg, Ali Taherlou in 75kg and Kavian Tavahi in 85kg took four bronze medals.
India finished in first place with 173 points, while Japan came third with 145 points.
