Iranian Duo Nominated for FIBA U-16 Women's Asia Championship MVP
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Two Iranian players have been nominated for the Most Valuable Player (MVP) of the FIBA U-16 Women's Asia Championship 2023 Division B.
Helyah Houdneh and Ghazal Zamani have helped Iran book a place in the final match, where the Persians will meet the Philippines in Amman, Jordan.
They will have to compete with Hong Kong’s Yan Ting Tai and Tsz Ching Kam, Malaysian Yi Xin Yap, Zena Alkarain from Jordan and the Philippines’ Sophia Canindo and Ava Fajardo to win the accolade.
The MVP player will be selected by fans' vote.
