SP Gas Field Phase 11 to Go on Stream Soon: Iran’s Oil Minister
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – An oil project will be inaugurated in the country every month, Iran’s oil minister said, adding that Phase 11 of the South Pars Gas Field will be inaugurated in the near future.
Semi-finished oil and gas projects will be completed and inaugurated by the end of the current Persian calendar year (March 20, 2024), Javad Owji stated.
Speaking at a ceremony held to launch the Gachsaran Petrochemical Complex, the oil minister announced the inauguration of 68 semi-finished oil and gas projects by the yearend.
Once these projects are launched, the oil and gas output volumes will increase to 130,000 barrels per day (bpd) and 40 million cubic meters respectively, Owji continued.
All stages for the construction operations of Phase 11 of the South Pars Gas Field have been implemented by expert domestic engineers and would become operational in the near future.
