Russia’s Women’s Football Team Beats Iran
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Russia’s women’s football team defeated Iran’s women’s national team 2-0 in a friendly match at the Novogorsk Training Center in Moscow, Russia on Tuesday.
Ekaterina Bratko opened the scoring for the host in the 45th minute and Alyona Andreeeva scored the second goal in the 50th minute.
Team Melli Banovan played two friendly matches with the Russian team as part of preparation for the Olympic Tournament Paris 2024 qualification.
Iran is drawn along with Australia, Chinese Taipei and the Philippines in Group A.
