Israeli Forces Fatally Shoot 1, Injure 8 Palestinians
TEHRAN (Tasnim) - Israeli forces killed one and wounded another eight Palestinians during a raid of the Tulkarm refugee camp.
Citing medical sources, the Palestinian news agency WAFA reported on Friday that a 23-year-old man succumbed to his injuries at the hospital after being shot in the chest.
In a separate incident on Tuesday, Israeli forces destroyed the residence of a Palestinian man accused of killing two settlers in February.
The recent surge of violence in the occupied West Bank represents an ongoing pattern of near-nightly Israeli incursions into Palestinian cities and towns.
Since the start of this year, over 200 Palestinians have lost their lives due to Israeli attacks. The United Nations has issued a warning that 2023 could become the deadliest year for Palestinians in terms of recorded fatalities.
