Morteza Sharifi Not Fit for 2023 Asian Volleyball Championship
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iran outside spiker Morteza Sharifi will not be fit for the 2023 Asian Volleyball Championship.
The 24-year-old player suffered a foot injury during the 2023 Volleyball Nations League (VNL) and cannot accompany Team Melli in his hometown Orumiyeh.
Iran will play Hong Kong and Iraq on Sunday and Monday, respectively.
The Championship will take place in Orumiyeh from August 19 to 26.
