Reza Asadi Omitted from Iran Squad for Friendlies
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Reza Asadi was omitted from the Iran national football team squad.
The Sepahan iconic attacking midfielder was originally called up to Team Melli but he is now omitted from the Team.
Sepahan is scheduled to meet Zenit in a friendly match in Saint Petersburg on September 7 and Asadi was left out of the team to accompany the Iranian football club.
Iran's national football team will meet Bulgaria on September 7 at the Hristo Botev Stadium in Plovdiv.
Iran will also host Angola in a friendly in Tehran on September 12.
