Thailand Victorious over Iran at U-17WAC Qualifiers
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Thailand defeated Iran 6-0 in the AFC U17 Women’s Asian Cup Indonesia 2024 qualifiers on Tuesday.
Rinyaphat Moondong (7th), Phatcharaphorn Khuchuea (8th and 22nd), Pinyaphat Klinklai (64th), Pattharatida Saenglaeb (69th) and Chirarak Khamtan (90th+2) scored for Thailand.
Iran will next face Korea Republic on Thursday in Group A, while India will go up against Thailand.
Thailand and Vietnam serve as centralized hosts for Group A and B respectively, which are both contested in a single round-robin league format.
Group B consists of Australia, Bangladesh, Vietnam and the Philippines.
