A Group of Russian Tourism Activists to Visit Iran Tomorrow
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – A group of Russia’s tourism activists will visit Iran Sunday and take part in the Mazandaran Tourism Conference in Babolsar, north of the country.
Last year, it was announced that Iranians and Russians can travel to each other's country for 15 days with no need to acquire a visa, provided that they travel with a tour in groups of between 5 and 50 people and those who want to travel alone must get a visa.
Now the group visa waiver between these two countries has been implemented for the first time.
Recently, Head of Trade Representative of the Russian Embassy in Iran Rustam Zhiganshin announced the start of visa-free travels of the first groups of Iran to Russia and vice versa.
Now, a group of Russian tourist activists would travel to Iran to take part in the Mazandaran Tourism Conference.
