Iran Handball Falls Short against Bahrain in 2022 Asian Games
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iran’s men’s handball team was defeated against Bahrain 29-20 in Group I of the 2022 Asian Games on Saturday.
Iran had lost to Kuwait 24-22 in its first match in the Main Round.
Veselin Vujovic’s team will play South Korea on Sunday.
A record high of nearly 12,500 athletes from 45 countries and territories compete across 40 sports in the 2022 Asian Games.
Iran has sent 289 male and female athletes to Hangzhou in 34 sports events.
