Iran’s Table Tennis Double into 2022 Asian Games Semifinals
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iran’s men’s table tennis double booked its place in the semifinals of 2022 Asian Games on Saturday.
Iran’s Noshad and Nima Alamian defeated Japan 3-0 to book a place in the men’s table tennis double semifinals.
Iran table tennis team has previously made history in the Games, winning a bronze medal after 65 years.
A record high of nearly 12,500 athletes from 45 countries and territories compete across 40 sports in the 2022 Asian Games.
Iran has sent 289 male and female athletes to the Games in 34 sports events.
