Iran Handball Loses to S. Korea in 2022 Asian Games
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iran’s men’s handball team lost to South Korea 25-24 in Group I of the 2022 Asian Games on Sunday.
Iran had lost to Kuwait 24-22 and Bahrain 29-20 in its first two matches in the Main Round.
Team Melli beat Mongolia, drew with Saudi Arabia and lost to Japan in the preliminary round.
A record high of nearly 12,500 athletes from 45 countries and territories compete across 40 sports in the 2022 Asian Games.
Iran has sent 289 male and female athletes to Hangzhou in 34 sports events.
