Iran’s Men’s Kabaddi Routs South Kora in 2022 Asian Games


TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iran’s men’s kabaddi team defeated South Korea 64-23 in Group B of the 2022 Asian Games on Wednesday.

Iran, who had defeated Pakistan 43-16 and Malaysia 53-23 in its previous matches, will play Group A second-placed team in the semifinals on Friday.

Iran’s men’s kabaddi team is the defending champion.

A record high of nearly 12,500 athletes from 45 countries and territories compete across 40 sports in the 2022 Asian Games.

Iran has sent 289 male and female athletes to the Games in 34 sports events.
