Satellite Images Show Heavy Missile Attacks on Tel Aviv, Sderot

TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Palestinian Islamic resistance fighters on Saturday launched unprecedented operations against Israeli settlements and military personnel in response to numerous Zionist crimes against the Palestinian people and repeated violations of the sanctity of Al-Aqsa Mosque.

Mohammad Dhaif, the overall commander of Al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of Hamas, called this operation "Al-Aqsa Storm" and declared it as a retaliation for Zionist aggressions.

Tasnim News' space desk has released the first satellite images obtained from international satellites showing the impact of resistance missiles in various occupied Palestinian locations. These images were captured on Saturday, approximately 8 hours after the start of the major operation by the Palestinian Islamic resistance fighters against the Zionists.

The images clearly depict the missiles and rockets from the resistance axis hitting different points in the cities of Tel Aviv and Sderot, resulting in widespread fires, especially in Sderot.

Palestinian freedom fighters took control of the illegal Israeli settlements in the 1948-occupied territories on Saturday morning after launching over 5,000 homemade rockets towards the colonial Israeli settlements.

The military wing of Hamas declared on Sunday that the movement has captured “several times greater” than dozens of Israelis from the occupied territories without giving a clear number.

The spokesman said those taken captive were spread throughout all areas of the Gaza Strip. Hamas said its offensive is a response to the desecration of the Al-Aqsa Mosque and increased settler violence.

At least 250 Israelis have also been killed.

Israel’s prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu has told residents of the besieged enclave to “leave now”.

At least 232 Palestinians have been killed in Israeli air attacks on the Gaza Strip according to medical sources, launched after a Hamas offensive against Israel.
