US, Sponsors of Israel Accomplices in War Crimes: Iranian President
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Denouncing the Zionist regime for killing children and innocent people in Gaza, Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi said the US and other countries that support Israel’s atrocities are accomplices in the war crimes and should be held accountable.
Addressing people in Iran’s Fars province on Friday, the president lashed out at the fake Zionist regime for its brutalities against the oppressed people of Gaza.
The countries supporting the Zionist regime should know that they are accomplices in the tyranny and war crimes in Gaza, the Iranian president said, warning that the Israeli regime’s acts of aggression in the occupied territories will not go unanswered.
"After 75 years of cruelty and crime, today the new generation of Palestinians is standing up against the Zionists, and this shows that neither crime, killing, nor deceitful contracts could discourage and dissuade the oppressed Palestinian people from pursuing their rights,” he stated.
The Israeli regime has been pounding the Gaza Strip for a week. At least 1,537 Palestinians have been killed and 6,612 wounded in the Israeli airstrikes.
Fear and confusion have gripped Gaza after the Israeli army told more than 1 million trapped Palestinians living in the north of besieged enclave to move south within 24 hours ahead of expected ground offensive.
