Iran Blind Football Comes Second at Hangzhou
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iran’s blind football team finished in second place in the 2022 Asian Para Games on Saturday.
Team Melli lost to China 2-1 on penalties after the match ended in a goalless draw in the regular time.
Iran shared the spoils in a goalless draw with Japan and defeated India, Thailand, Malaysia and China in the preliminary stage.
Thailand came third by defeating Japan 1-0 in the bronze medal match.
