Israeli Forces Conduct More Night Raids in Occupied West Bank

TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Israeli forces have extended their night raids beyond Hebron (Al-Khalil) and Nablus, conducting operations in several additional areas across the occupied West Bank, according to multiple reports.

Numerous sources reaching Al Jazeera have confirmed that Israeli forces also conducted raids and arrests in Qabatiya, located south of Jenin; Deir Ballut, situated west of Salfit; Zawata, found south of Nablus; and the al-Shweiki suburb in Tulkarem.

In a video shared on social media, sounds of gunfire were heard, indicating what was described as "armed clashes" in Qabatiya.

A video clip posted by Al Jazeera Arabic on social media captured Israeli forces engaging in another night raid in the occupied West Bank, focusing on Hebron in the southern region of the Palestinian territory.

The footage showed a convoy of Israeli armored vehicles patrolling a Hebron street. As a result of the latest Israeli night raid in the occupied West Bank, two individuals were apprehended in Nablus, according to the Palestinian news agency, WAFA.

The arrests occurred in the villages of Zawata and Beit Iba, west of Nablus. Additionally, a separate video posted on social media reveals rows of Israeli armored vehicles moving through residential areas in Nablus.

Omar Baddar, a Palestinian political analyst, highlighted that Israeli settlers are seizing the opportunity presented by global attention on Gaza to intensify their violent and deadly attacks on Palestinians in the occupied West Bank.

The UN Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) reported that 121 Palestinians, including 33 children, have fallen victim to Israeli forces or settlers’ attacks in the West Bank since October 7, with nearly 1,000 Palestinians forcibly displaced.

Baddar emphasized that there is no accountability for settler violence, and these actions aim to push Palestinians out of areas desired by Israel and the settler movement.

He further noted that settler violence is carried out with the tacit approval of the Israeli regime and serves to facilitate land theft, capitalizing on the world's diverted attention to conduct such attacks.
