Dwight Buycks Joins Zob Ahan Basketball Team
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iranian basketball team Zob Ahan has completed the signing of American point guard Dwight Buycks.
Buycks is familiar with European, Asian, Latin American, and of course North American leagues.
He has played previously professionally in Belgium (Oostende), China (Sturgeons and Aviators), France (Gravelines Dunkerque and JSF Nanterre), Greece (Olympiacos), Puerto Rico (Grises, Mets and Indios), Qatar (Al Shamal), Spain, Venezuela (Trotamundos), NBA (Detroit Pistons, OKC Thunder and Toronto Raptors), NBA G League (OKC Blue, NAZ Suns and Grand Rapids Gold).
The 34-year-old player has also played in Iranian team Chemidor.
Buycks was selected to Asia-Basket.com Iranian Superleague All-Imports Team in 2022.
