Five Palestinians Killed in Israeli Raid on Tulkarem Refugee Camp
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Five Palestinians were killed and five others injured in an Israeli raid on the Tulkarem refugee camp, while another Palestinian lost his life during a separate raid in Azzun, east of West Bank’s Qalqilya.
At least 23 Palestinians were detained in a raid on Dheisheh refugee camp south of Bethlehem, with further raids occurring in various locations across the West Bank.
Israeli soldiers raided the emergency department of Thabet Thabet Governmental Hospital in Tulkarem, forcibly arresting an injured patient. Israeli airstrikes hit a house in the Tulkarem refugee camp, wounding three young men, as Israeli forces obstructed ambulance crews from reaching the injured victims.
Amir Abdel Rahman Majd, a 30-year-old public transport driver, and Muhammad Hassan Suwaidan were shot during a raid east of Qalqilya. Suwaidan sustained slight injuries and was later detained, while Majd, critically injured, faced delays in receiving medical attention, dying shortly after reaching the Darwish Nazzal Governmental Hospital in Qalqilya.
As Israel continued its assault on Gaza, with over 100 Palestinians killed, while the targeting of Palestinians in the occupied West Bank persisted.
Since October 7, near-daily raids across the West Bank have resulted in the deaths of at least 219 Palestinians, including those in Israeli custody. Over 3,000 more Palestinians have been arrested during daily raids across the occupied West Bank and East Jerusalem.
