Yemeni Armed Forces Launch Attack in Solidarity with Palestinians
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Yemen's Armed Forces launched a missile attack aimed at occupied territories, supporting Palestinians in Gaza Strip and the West Bank enduring relentless Israeli aggression.
In a statement on Wednesday, the forces revealed, "The missile force of the Yemeni Armed Forces launched a batch of cruise missiles at various military targets of the Israeli entity."
They specified the target as "Umm al-Rashrash, south of occupied Palestine," emphasizing their commitment to ongoing military operations until Israeli aggression halts against Palestinians in Gaza and the West Bank.
The announcement occurred amid the Israeli regime's ongoing war on Gaza, resulting in a reported death toll of up to 14,532 Palestinians, including approximately 6,000 children. The regime has escalated attacks on the West Bank since the war's onset on October 7.
Since the conflict's commencement, Yemeni forces have executed multiple operations against occupied territories. Recently, they seized an Israeli ship, detaining 52 individuals aboard after warning of targeting all vessels owned or operated by Israeli companies or carrying the Israeli flag in the Red Sea waters.
Yemen's National Salvation Government's Information Minister emphasized in an interview with Lebanon's al-Mayadeen television network that all Israeli ships transiting the Red Sea were deemed "legitimate targets."
Deifullah al-Shami, expressing the sentiment of dealing with a "criminal enemy," highlighted the impossibility of remaining neutral in the face of the atrocities and genocide inflicted upon Palestinians. He affirmed their intent to target anything affiliated with the (Israeli) enemy.
