Nassaji Keen to Sign Off on High Note against Al Hilal

TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Al Hilal SFC will aim to end its group stage campaign with a fifth consecutive win when it hosts Nassaji Mazandaran while Nassaji will be keen to sign off on a high note and Al Hilal can expect a resilient opponent on Monday.

Last week's 2-0 win over Uzbekistan's Navbahor confirmed the four-time Asian champion as the Group D winner but the in-form side will not be satisfied with that.

Al Hilal followed up its win over Navbahor with an impressive 3-0 defeat of Al Nassr in a Saudi Pro League 2023-24 tie on Friday, opening a seven-point gap at the top.

It will be determined to maintain the momentum as it bids to win the AFC Champions League title for a third time after having being denied by Urawa Red Diamonds of Japan last season.

Nassaji's hopes was dashed long ago but the Iran side would have enjoyed its debut campaign.
