6,170 Palestinians Arrested in Occupied West Bank since October 7

TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Gaza’s Health Ministry said 6.170 Palestinians have been arrested by the Israeli regime forces in the occupied West Bank since October 7.

The Palestinian news agency Wafa reported the updated figure, citing the Palestinian Prisoner’s Society and the Commission of Detainees and Ex-Detainees Affairs.

The two organizations issued a joint statement, stating that overnight and this morning, Israeli forces arrested at least 15 people in the occupied West Bank, including former prisoners.

The arrests were made across several locations, including Jenin, Nablus, Ramallah, Hebron, and Jerusalem al-Quds.

These nightly operations, a consistent pattern over the past months, vary in duration. Some raids last for a few days, as seen in Tulkarem recently, where an operation endured for about 45 hours. Similar prolonged raids occurred in Jenin before.

The continuous Israeli incursions are adding significant pressure on the Palestinian population, as these operations often coincide with the destruction of livelihoods.
