TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Brazilian coach Marcos César Dias de Castro, known as Marcos Paquetá, has been nominated to take charge of Iran’s Persepolis football club.
The 65-year-old coach, who currently leads Algerian team CR Belouizdad, has also been linked with a move to Egyptian giant Zamalek.
Italian coach Gianni De Biasi, Portuguese Jose Vitor dos Santos Peseiro as well as Bosnian-born Swiss professional football coach Vladimir Petkovic had also been shortlisted to lead the Iranian team.
