Inter, Taremi Ironing Out Final Details
TEHRAN (Tasnim) - Inter Milan is working on finalizing the few remaining knots before securing the services of Iranian striker Mahdi Taremi.
The 31-year-old is currently running on an expiring contract. Thus, he will leave Porto at the end of the season and sign for a new club as a free agent.
For their part, the Nerazzurri have been lurking since the summer.
While a deal never materialized in August due to Porto’s asking price, Inter never abandoned its pursuit of Taremi, reveals FcInter1908.
In recent weeks, Inter has made an important breakthrough in its negotiations with the player’s entourage. Most major Italian news sources now expect the striker to join Simone Inzaghi’s ranks ahead of next season.

This season, Taremi has thus far contributed with six goals and four assists across all competitions for the Dragons.
