Iranian Taekwondo Athletes Win Four Gold Medals at Fujairah Open 2024


TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iranian taekwondo athletes won four gold, two silver and two bronze medals in the 11th Fujairah Open 2024.

Sogand Shiri defeated her countrywoman Sayna Karimi in the final match of the Female -46kg.

Tina Modanlou emerged victorious over Kanelya Carabin from France in the final bout of Female -57kg.

Mahdi Hajimousaei defeated his compatriot Abolfazl Zandi in the final match of the Male -58kg category.

Arian Salimi also defeated Azerbaijan’s Milad Beigi in the Male +87kg final to win a gold medal.

Alireza Hosseinpour in the Men -58kg and Sogol Shiri in the Female -49kg also claimed two bronze medals.

The G2 tournament is being held at the Sheikh Zayed Sport City in Fujairah, the UAE from February 4 to 7.
