Decision Made on Revenge for Israeli Attack on Consulate: Iranian Official

TEHRAN (Tasnim) – A member of Iran’s Expediency Council said Tehran has arrived at a decision to take revenge against the Israeli regime for its fatal airstrike on the consular section of the Iranian embassy in Damascus.

Speaking to Tasnim at the International Quds Day demonstrations in Tehran on Friday, Mohsen Rezaei said Iran has made and will definitely implement the decision about taking revenge for the Israeli strike on the Iranian diplomatic mission in Syria.

He slammed the fatal attack on Iranian military advisers in Damascus as a testimony to the frustration of the Zionists, who have crosses all international red lines.

The Iranian nation may rest assured that the measure awaiting the Zionist regime will make it regret its attack on the IRGC forces, he added.

The Israeli regime’s warplanes launched a missile attack on the consular section of Iran’s embassy in Damascus on Monday evening, killing seven IRGC generals and military advisers.

In a message on Tuesday, Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei said the Islamic Republic will make the Zionist regime regret this crime.
