Harsh Punishment to Expedite Israel’s Collapse, Iranian Speaker Says
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – The speaker of the Iranian Parliament said an inevitable revenge for the Israeli strike on Iran’s diplomatic mission in Damascus is going to accelerate the downfall of the Zionist regime.
Addressing a parliamentary session on Sunday, Mohammad Baqer Qalibaf said the Iranian nation will definitely punish the Israeli regime for its recent fatal attack on the consular section of Iran’s embassy in Syria.
He warned that Iran’s retaliatory attack will be harsh, give Israel a lesson, and expedite the downfall of the Zionist regime.
Qalibaf noted that the airstrike on Iran’s diplomatic mission in Damascus proved that the Zionist regime sets no limit on criminality and has become so disgraced and hated that it brazenly violates all international law.
The Israeli regime’s warplanes launched a missile attack on the consular section of Iran’s embassy in Damascus on April 1, killing seven IRGC military advisers.
In a message on Tuesday, Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei said the Islamic Republic will make the Zionist regime regret this crime.
