Iran's FM Felicitates Muslim Counterparts on Eid al-Fitr


TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amirabdollahian congratulated the Eid al-Fitr (marking the end of fasting month of Ramadan) to his counterparts at the Islamic countries.

In his congratulatory message on Wednesday, he wrote, “I congratulate your Excellency and the Muslim nation of that country on the auspicious occasion of Eid al-Fitr of returning to the pure human nature.”

Eid al-Fitr is the feast of true joy for Muslims for taking the divine test and is the season of rejoice and happiness for the servants of God who have taken the path of exaltation with piety and righteousness and have managed to reach proximity with God, the website of Iranian Foreign Ministry reported.

“I hope that with the blessings of this auspicious Eid and in the light of cooperation between Islamic states, we will be able to establish ever-growing security, prosperity and peace for the Islamic nations and remove oppression and inequality in the entire world, especially the oppression against the oppressed people of Palestine,” he added.

"I pray to Almighty God to accept your prayers and worship, and grant your Excellency health and success, and the government and nation of your country happiness and pride."
