Iran’s Response to Be Considerably More Severe If Israel Makes Another Mistake: UN Mission

TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iran’s mission to the United Nations said the country’s attacks against Israel were in retaliation to the Zionist regime’s act of aggression and that if Tel Aviv makes another mistake, Tehran’s response would be more severe.

Late on Saturday, the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) launched massive missile and drone attacks on Israeli targets.

Following the strikes, Iran’s mission to the United Nations said on social media platform X early on Sunday, “... Iran’s military action was in response to the Zionist regime’s aggression against our diplomatic premises in Damascus. The matter can be deemed concluded.

“However, should the Israeli regime make another mistake, Iran’s response will be considerably more severe. It is a conflict between Iran and the rogue Israeli regime, from which the US MUST STAY AWAY!”

The Israeli regime’s terrorist attack of April 1 against the Islamic Republic’s diplomatic premises in the Syrian capital Damascus had resulted in the martyrdom of Brigadier General Mohammad Reza Zahedi, a commander of the IRGC’s Quds Force, his deputy, General Mohammad Hadi Haji Rahimi, and five of their accompanying officers.

Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei vowed that Iran would “punish” Israel and make the evil regime “regret” its crime of assassinating the country’s military advisers in Syria.
