Iran-Turkey Trade Hits $1.750 bln in 4 Months


TEHRAN (Tasnim) – The Turkish Statistical Institute (TURKSTAT) put the trade exchanges between Iran and Turkey in the first four months of 2024 at $1.750 billion, showing a two percent growth compared to the same period last year.

The trade exchanges between Iran and Turkey in the first four months of 2023 were over $1.720 billion.

According to this report, Turkey exported $1.50 billion of products to Iran from January to April 2024, registering a 16% hike compared to last year’s corresponding period.

Turkey had exported $900 million of products to Iran from January to April 2023.

Turkey imported $820 million worth of products to Iran from January to April 2024, registering a 14 percent decline compared to the same period last year.

Turkey had imported $700 million of products to Iran from January to April 2023.

Turkey exported $236 million worth of products to Iran in April 2024.

The trade exchanges between the two countries in April 2024 hit $386 million, showing a 12 percent growth compared to the same period last year.
