Iran, Hezbollah Discuss Regional Issues


TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Secretary General of Hezbollah resistance movement Sayyid Hassan Nasrallah and the caretaker foreign minister of Iran talked about the latest political and security developments in the region.

The Iranian caretaker foreign minister, Ali Baqeri, held a meeting with the secretary general of Hezbollah during a visit to Beirut on Monday.

The meeting revolved around the latest political and security issues in the region, specifically the developments in Gaza and Lebanon.

In comments in the gathering, Nasrallah once again offered condolences to Iran on the passing away of President Ebrahim Raisi and his entourage in a recent helicopter crash, according to Al Manar.

The secretary general of Hezbollah also lauded the Iranian leadership, government and nation for standing by the regional nations and the resistance movements and for adopting firm and unshakable stances despite all pressures and sanctions.

The caretaker foreign minister of Iran arrived in Damascus on Tuesday after a one-day stay in Beirut, where he met Lebanon’s foreign minister and parliament speaker.
