Israeli Forces Arrest 22 in Latest West Bank Raids


TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Israeli forces arrested 22 individuals in the West Bank, with the majority of arrests occurring in the Jenin governorate, according to local reports.

Numerous arrests took place in the town of Arrabeh, where Israeli forces opened fire on a vehicle, local sources said. 

Additional arrests occurred in the governorates of Hebron (al-Khalil), Tulkarem, Ramallah and el-Bireh, Qalqilya, and Jericho.

Three brothers were detained in a dawn raid in Hebron, as reported by Wafa, noting that their father is already imprisoned in Israel.

In Arrabeh, four Palestinians were arrested during a raid in which Israeli forces fired on a vehicle, although no injuries were reported, Wafa said.

Raids were also conducted in the villages of Rummana, Zubaba, Taanak, and the towns of Barta’a and Yabad in the Jenin governorate.

A Palestinian man was assaulted before being detained at a military checkpoint in Jericho.

A 16-year-old was shot and injured in Salem village, east of Nablus, during clashes with Israeli forces on Saturday night.

Israeli forces used stun grenades and toxic gas during a raid on Husan village, west of Bethlehem.

Israeli settlers raided the outskirts of Deir Dibwan, east of Ramallah, uprooted 40 olive trees, and destroyed an agricultural building in the Masafer Yatta area, south of Hebron.

Raids also took place in towns and villages east and west of Ramallah, where Israeli forces deployed stun grenades and noxious gas against Palestinian youths who confronted the incursion.

Since October 7, Israeli forces have arrested 9,125 people in near-daily raids across the occupied West Bank.
