Turkish Wrestler Rıza Kayaalp Not Eligible for 2024 Olympics
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Turkish Greco-Roman wrestler Rıza Kayaalp will not participate in the 2024 Olympic Games after he tested positive for prohibited substance.
He won silver at the 2016 Summer Olympics and bronze medals at the 2012 and 2020 Summer Olympics.
Kayaalp was a rival of Iranian wrestler Amin Mirzazadeh in the 2024 Olympics slated to be held in Paris.
Hamza Bakır will compete in Paris instead of Kayaalp.
