Iran Remains Unchanged: FIFA Ranking
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iran’s national football team remained unchanged in the latest FIFA ranking updated on Thursday.
Team Melli is 20th in the ranking.
Japan moved down one place to 18th but is still the best Asian team.
Argentina’s Copa América victory saw it keep hold of the top spot, while France’s disappointing European Championship wasn’t enough to dislodge the team from second.
The FIFA rankings were updated on Thursday following the latest competitions and will be updated again in two months' time on September 19.
