2024 Asian U-20 Volleyball Championship: Iran Downs Chinese Taipei


TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iran defeated Chinese Taipei 3-0 (25-13, 25-12, 25-19) in the 2024 Asian Men's U-20 Volleyball Championship on Wednesday.

Iran, the seven-time champion, who defeated China 3-0 in its first match, will face Qatar in Pool B on Thursday.

The ongoing event is the 22nd edition of the Asian Men's U-20 Volleyball Championship, a biennial international tournament organized by the Asian Volleyball Confederation (AVC) and Indonesian Volleyball Federation (PBVSI).

The tournament takes place in Surabaya, Indonesia, from July 23 to 30.

The competitions serve as Asia’s qualification tournament for the 2025 FIVB Volleyball Men’s U21 World Championship.
