Iran Exports over $2 Billion of Steel Products in 4 Months: IRICA


TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iran exported four million tons of steel products, valued at $2.073 billion, in the first four months of the current Iranian calendar year (March 21 to July 22, 2024).

According to the Islamic Republic of Iran Customs Administration (IRICA), the country’s export of steel products in this timespan registered a 15.6 and a 16.3 percent decline in weight and value respectively compared to last year’s corresponding period.

In the first four months of this year, Iran exported $541 million of iron and steel ingot, $372 million of rebar, $118 million of steel sheet, and $115.435 million of semi-finished iron/steel products, the IRICA added.
