Iran’s Sabre Team to Meet France for Bronze: 2024 Olympics
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iran men’s sabre team failed to advance to the 2024 Olympic Games final after losing to Hungary on Wednesday.
Team Melli, who had defeated the US 45-44, lost to Hungary 45-43 in the semifinals.
Iran’s Mohammad Fotouhi, Ali Pakdaman, Farzad Baher Arasbaran and Mohammad Rahbari then played host France Wednesday night in the bronze-medal match.
South Korea will also play Hungary in the final.
The men's team sabre event at the 2024 Summer Olympics took place on July 31, 2024, at the Grand Palais strip.
