IRGC Commander Offers Condolences over Martyrdom of Iranian Military Adviser in Beirut

TEHRAN (Tasnim) - Commander of the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) Major General Hossein Salami expressed his condolences for the martyrdom of Milad Bidi, an Iranian military adviser who was assassinated in a recent airstrike by Israeli fighter jets in Beirut.

In a message of condolence, General Salami quoted the Quran, stating, "Do not think of those who are killed in the way of Allah as dead. Rather, they are alive with their Lord, receiving provision." (Ale 'Imran 3:169).

"I offer my congratulations and condolences to the esteemed family and brave comrades of the honored martyr Milad Bidi, a proud defender of the Shrine, who achieved the great honor of martyrdom in the recent terrorist attack by Zionist regime fighter jets on the southern suburbs of Beirut," Salami said.

He praised Bidi's efforts in defending the Islamic Revolution and the Islamic system, safeguarding the security and peace of Iran against its enemies' plots, and supporting the Mujahideen of the Islamic Ummah in their struggle against the "criminal and occupying Zionist regime."

Salami emphasized the wrath and vengeance of the Mujahideen of the Islamic Resistance Front for the recent crimes of the Zionist regime in the region, particularly Gaza. He prayed for the exaltation of Bidi's ranks, his companionship with the martyrs of Karbala, and for the health and steadfastness of his family, admirers, and comrades in continuing the path of martyrdom and jihad.

Milad Bidi, one of Iran's military advisers in Lebanon, was killed during an Israeli attack on the building of Martyr Fuad Shukur, a senior commander of the Lebanese resistance movement Hezbollah.
