Iran’s Mazandaran Exports 661,000 Tons of Goods to 39 Countries


TEHRAN (Tasnim) – An official at the customs office of Iran’s Mazandaran province said that 661,000 tons of goods were exported from the province to 39 countries in the first four months of the current Iranian calendar year (started March 21, 2024).

In this period, dairy products, valued at $37 million, cement, valued at $16 million, plastic materials, valued $13 million, and minerals, valued at $4 million, were exported from the customs offices of this northern province overseas, Amir Jamshidi stated.

He added that the export of non-oil goods from this province between March 21 and July 22, 2024, registered a 43 and 18 percent growth in weight and value respectively compared to last year’s corresponding period.

Iraq imported 36,000 tons of non-oil goods, valued at $44.166 million, from the provincial customs office in the first four months of the current Iranian calendar year, he added.
