Ahmad Donyamali Proposed as Iran’s Sport and Youth Minister


TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Ahmad Donyamali has been proposed as Iran’s minster of sport and youth.

A list of 19 proposed ministers was proposed to Parliament by President Masoud Pezeshkian.

They will serve in his government if they can win the vote of confidence of the lawmakers after 10 days of debates that will start on Sunday.

Donyamali served as president of the Iranian Canoeing, Rowing & Sailing Federation from 2004 to 2011.

He has also served as the chairman of the Ports and Maritime Organization of Iran.
