Iran Downs Kuwait at 2024 FIBA U-18 Asia Cup
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iran eased past Kuwait 90-53 at the Prince Hamza Hall in Amman, Jordan, on Monday to start its 2024 FIBA U-18 Asia Cup campaign on high.
Iran’s Salar Taheri and Amir Mahyar Keramati finished with 13 points apiece, while Pedram Fallah and Mani Gigasari added 12 and 10 points, respectively, as all 11 players fielded contributed at least 2 points in a lopsided contest to start Group B play.
Iran will play India and South Korea on Tuesday and Wednesday, respectively.
The competition is being held in Amman, Jordan from September 2 to 9.
