Children among 20 Killed in Israeli Strikes on Gaza's Nuseirat Refugee Camp


TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Israeli forces intensified their airstrikes on Gaza, killing at least 20 people, including children, in attacks on various areas, including the Zeitoun and Sheikh Radwan neighborhoods of Gaza City and the Nuseirat refugee camp.

Israeli forces continued their deadly assaults across Gaza, targeting multiple areas and killing at least 10 people in the Nuseirat refugee camp.

Airstrikes also hit the Zeitoun and Sheikh Radwan neighborhoods of Gaza City, where another 10 people, including children, were reported dead.

The Palestinian Civil Defence reported on Telegram that its crews recovered two bodies and rescued several wounded individuals following an attack on the Abu Shaar family home in Rafah, located in southern Gaza.

This follows attacks earlier on Sunday, when an Israeli airstrike on Gaza City’s Zeitoun area killed at least six people, including two children, according to Wafa.

Another attack in the Sheikh Radwan neighborhood resulted in the deaths of four people, bringing the total to 20 casualties in Gaza for the day.

The airstrike in Sheikh Radwan targeted a residential home in the district, which lies southeast of Gaza City.

The Palestinian Civil Defence confirmed that four people, including a woman, were killed in the Sheikh Radwan airstrike.

Mahmoud Bassal, spokesperson for the Palestinian Civil Defence, stated that rescue efforts are ongoing to find two missing children buried under the rubble of the Bahloul family home.

According to official reports, the ongoing Israeli war has claimed the lives of at least 41,206 people, with 95,337 others wounded in Israel’s war on Gaza.
